In earlier blog posts, I talked about my decision to try a new type of virtual run challenge, the Conqueror Virtual Challenges, as well as my completion of my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth Conqueror Virtual Challenges: the English Channel, the Inca Trail, Mount Fuji, Angkor Wat, Marathon to Athens, and the Berlin Wall respectively.

I have since completed my seventh Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Amalfi Coast.

The Amalfi Coast Conqueror Virtual Challenge takes participants “through a coastal drive with dramatic views of the crystal-blue Mediterranean Sea, local fishing villages, and iconic terraced lemon groves.”

I chose to complete the Amalfi Coast Conqueror Virtual Challenge via stationary bike rides, elliptical sessions, indoor rows, and treadmill and outdoor walks. I completed the Challenge from 4 January to 8 March 2023.

Just like when I completed the previous Challenges, I received a race bib, postcards along the way, a finisher’s certificate, and a finisher’s medal. You can find pictures of these below.

My goal for this year is to complete at least one Conqueror Virtual Challenge per season. The Amalfi Coast was my first Conqueror Virtual Challenge for 2023 and my summer (I’m based in Australia) Challenge. My autumn Challenge is Easter Island.
