Conqueror Virtual Challenge – The Giza Pyramids

In earlier blog posts, I talked about my decision to try a new type of virtual run challenge, the Conqueror Virtual Challenges, as well as my completion of the following challenges:

  1. The English Channel
  2. The Inca Trail
  3. Mount Fuji
  4. Angkor Wat
  5. Marathon to Athens
  6. The Berlin Wall
  7. Amalfi Coast
  8. Easter Island
  9. Paris
  10. Rome
  11. Bangkok
  12. Washington DC
  13. The Jesus Trail
  14. Mount Everest
  15. Trek to Petra
  16. Flower Route
  17. Yosemite
  18. Tokyo

I have since completed my nineteenth Conqueror Virtual Challenge, the Giza Pyramids.

The Giza Pyramids Conqueror Virtual Challenge takes participants “through the fascinating city of Cairo right to the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.”

I chose to complete the Giza Pyramids Conqueror Virtual Challenge via indoor walking, stationary bike rides, sessions on the elliptical and rowing machines, and logging my daily steps. I completed this Challenge from March 30 until April 11, 2024.

Just like when I completed the previous Challenges, I received a race bib, postcards along the way, a finisher’s certificate, and a finisher’s medal. You can find pictures of these below.

The next Conqueror Virtual Challenge I participated in was the West Coast Trail.

Stay tuned for updates.
