Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Trek to Petra

In earlier blog posts, I talked about my decision to try a new type of virtual run challenge, the Conqueror Virtual Challenges, as well as my completion of my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, twelfth, thirteenth, and fourteenth Conqueror Virtual Challenges: the English Channel, the Inca Trail, Mount Fuji, Angkor Wat, Marathon to Athens, the Berlin Wall, the Amalfi Coast , Easter Island, Paris, Rome, Bangkok, Washington DC, the Jesus Trail, and Mount Everest, respectively.

I have since completed my fifteenth Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Trek to Petra.

The Trek to Petra Conqueror Virtual Challenge takes participants “from Dana to the Red Rose City of Petra — one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.” With the iconic hike “exploring the remote canyons, valleys and deserts of Jordan.”

I chose to complete the Trek to Petra Conqueror Virtual Challenge via indoor walking, stationary bike rides, and logging my daily steps. I completed this Challenge from February 22 until March 1, 2024.

Just like when I completed the previous Challenges, I received a race bib, postcards along the way, a finisher’s certificate, and a finisher’s medal. You can find pictures of these below.

The next Conqueror Virtual Challenge I participated in was Flower Route.

Stay tuned for updates.
