Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Rome

In earlier blog posts, I talked about my decision to try a new type of virtual run challenge, the Conqueror Virtual Challenges, as well as my completion of my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth Conqueror Virtual Challenges: the English Channel, the Inca Trail, Mount Fuji, Angkor Wat, Marathon to Athens, the Berlin Wall, the Amalfi Coast , Easter Island, and Paris respectively.

I have since completed my tenth Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Rome.

The Rome Conqueror Virtual Challenge takes participants on a journey through the “streets of Rome, from the medieval Castel Sant’Angelo to the iconic Colosseum.” Along the way, participants will experience the “city’s unique blend of ancient history and modern elegance, with stops at landmarks like the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona.”

I chose to complete the Rome Conqueror Virtual Challenge via indoor walking, stationary bike rides, and sessions on my gym’s rowing machine. I completed this Challenge from October 18 until December 29, 2023.

Just like when I completed the previous Challenges, I received a race bib, postcards along the way, a finisher’s certificate, and a finisher’s medal. You can find pictures of these below.

The next Conqueror Virtual Challenge I’ll be participating in will be Bangkok.

Stay tuned for updates.
