Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Paris

In earlier blog posts, I talked about my decision to try a new type of virtual run challenge, the Conqueror Virtual Challenges, as well as my completion of my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth Conqueror Virtual Challenges: the English Channel, the Inca Trail, Mount Fuji, Angkor Wat, Marathon to Athens, the Berlin Wall, the Amalfi Coast , and Easter Island respectively.

I have since completed my ninth Conqueror Virtual Challenge – Paris.

The Paris Conqueror Virtual Challenge takes participants on a journey “from the iconic Arc de Triomphe, passing through fascinating neighbourhoods with cobbled streets, stunning architecture, one-of-a-kind museums, and cafes that were once popular with historical figures, before culminating at the majestic Eiffel Tower.”

I chose to complete the Paris Conqueror Virtual Challenge via indoor walking, stationary bike rides, outdoor walking, and sessions on the gym rowing and elliptical machines. I completed this Challenge from 7 April until 24 September 2023.

Just like when I completed the previous Challenges, I received a race bib, postcards along the way, a finisher’s certificate, and a finisher’s medal. You can find pictures of these below.

The next Conqueror Virtual Challenge I’ll be participating in will be Rome.

Stay tuned for updates.
