Fourth physio session
Like last week, this physio session was shorter than the first two sessions.
This session focused on making my legs stronger overall. Eliza decided to remove the first quad exercise from my list of exercises to do at home. Instead she got me to do wall quarter squats and standing heel raises to strengthen my glutes and hamstrings, and calves respectively.
She also got me to use an upright exercise bike and added the exercises on the bike to my list of home exercises. The bike strengthens the legs without putting weight and pressure on the knees, which is important with my ligament injury.
She didn’t tape my knee up this time and I’ll be seeing her again in a month, which will give me more time to work on my exercises and strengthen my legs.
