Write about a memorable fight you were in**
The last memorable fight I remember being in was over four years ago, about a week before one of my former friends was having her Hen’s Party.
Although I was invited and I knew it was being held on a specific day, I couldn’t recall being told exactly when it was due to start, so I texted my former friend (the bride). Instead of receiving a text back from the bride, I received one from another former friend of mine who was the maid of honour. The maid of honour told me that I shouldn’t be stressing our friend (the bride) out by asking her this question and it spiralled from there.
The fight went on for hours with me telling the maid of honour she was overreacting and all I did was ask a simple question, that she should just answer the question and she was talking like I was slapping the bride in the face. I can’t quite recall what she said other than having the nerve to tell me that I was misinterpreting/overreacting to what she was saying. The fight ended with the maid of honour finally telling me to talk to one of the other bridesmaids to get another copy of the invitation, which she could have told me to do hours earlier.
The fight was memorable to me because the maid of honour and I had never been in a fight before, let alone one that lasted for hours. We had to go to the birthday party of the aforementioned bridesmaid the next day and things were tense for the first half of the party, but eventually we relaxed and got on. I never looked at her or felt the same way about her after that.
