Tell of a time when you were treated unfairly. Then retell the same episode from the other person’s point of view**
The last time I felt I was treated unfairly was about this time last year when a man I briefly dated but tried to be friends with, told me that he didn’t want to be friends with me anymore.
MY POINT OF VIEW:
He didn’t want to be friends with me anymore as I asked him an uncomfortable question relating to our brief dating experience and he started dating someone new (which he conveniently only told me about when I asked him the uncomfortable question). I felt that he lied to me about wanting to be friends and that he wasn’t a real friend at all for throwing me out of his life like a piece of trash because he found a new girlfriend (I actually told him this and those were the words I used). While I meant what I said, I also said this because I was hurt and upset and wondered why he bothered being friends or more likely pretended to be friends with me in the first place.
HIS POINT OF VIEW:
Why did she ask me this question now? We dated ages ago, I thought we were passed this? I think it’s best not to answer straight away, however I know she’ll press me for answer. I waited another day and told her, now’s the best time to tell her about my new girlfriend. She told me that I didn’t care about her, which isn’t true, but I feel that us being friends won’t work right now (or ever). She told me that I wasn’t a real friend, there’s no point talking to her again now.
