John Marsden Writing Topic #415
‘If we don’t change our direction, we’ll end up where we’re headed.’ Where are you headed? Do you want to change your direction?**
Next Wednesday will be my 26th birthday and I will officially be closer to 30 than 20. At my current age, I feel I am walking a tightrope between being young and getting older, feeling like I have my whole life ahead of me and that I need to become more responsible as I’m getting older.
I do want to change my direction as I get older in some ways. I would like to spread my wings with my career and eventually work in my field more. I would also like to improve my money saving methods so I can either buy a home or a car, as well as have money behind me so I have no financial worries. However I would also like to travel overseas, so I can see and experience the world, as well as be able to spend my money and life on things that will fulfil me, instead of just working to pay my rent and bills.
