What’s the biggest disaster you’ve ever caused**
Most people wouldn’t view this as a big disaster, but for me it was a big personal disaster. In my fourth year of uni, I was taking a Convergence Journalism class and one of my assessment tasks was making a video using specialised software. I did a shoot with a student for the task way ahead of time, imported the data onto my hard drive and assumed that I could take the hard drive to uni and use the software to make the video.
I discovered less than a week out from the assessment task due date that I had to import the data directly from the video camera, the data wouldn’t work any other way. I broke down from stress as soon as I found out, but luckily I managed to find time with the student to do a re-shoot and spent days, right until the last minute getting the assessment done and I ended up getting a decent mark.
