John Marsden Writing Topic #481
Describe something you used to believe in but now don’t**
I used to believe that abortion was murder due to my childhood spent at church, however when I started high school, my church was sold or something, I’m not sure what happened, but as my mother stopped going there, so did I, so I drifted away from being devout. As I drifted away from being devout, as I grew up and when I eventually went on to experience different things and views in life, I went from being pro-life to pro-choice. I don’t believe abortion is murder anymore, in fact I think abortion laws in Australia need to change so they aren’t so confusing and restrictive. If women need or want an abortion, they should be able to access one safely and without judgement.
