Describe a time when an animal you’ve known has shown courage, loyalty, affection…**

I’ve had only a few pets in my life and only in childhood and I have very vague memories of them. Therefore I’m going on animals that I’ve seen rather than I’ve known personally.

An animal I’ve seen that has shown courage is a dog that guarded another dog on the side of the road after the latter dog was hit by a car. Passers-by witnessed this dog standing guard and called an animal shelter for assistance. This was reported by The Daily Mail.

Animals I’ve seen that have shown loyalty are dogs who attend the funerals of their owners and a dog who still attended Mass after the death of his owner, this was reported by The Daily Mail.

Animals that I’ve seen who have displayed affection are dogs who greet their soldier owners, who are on leave, that I’ve seen on YouTube. The reaction of both the dogs and the owners are priceless.
