The Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital opened late last year. I think this is of historical importance as Wagga Wagga has been needing a new hospital for several years, going back to when my parents were children and now that need has become reality. I also believe this is of historical importance as Wagga Wagga is the biggest inland town in the state and having an improved and larger hospital would greatly improve the Wagga Wagga and Riverina community. That would be how I would explain it to my children.
