John Marsden Writing Topic #369
Write a page of complaints–have a good whinge about anything or everything**
I love going to the movies, but I hate the slight anxiety I feel about the possibility of people talking and/or using their mobile phones. I shouldn’t have to feel that way but I do, I don’t understand people who go to the movies only to talk or use their phones all the way through it!? They’re wasting not only their money but also ruining everyone else’s time. Go to a cafe, restaurant, park, anywhere else to talk NOT THE MOVIES! I hate it when people use their phones at the movies, again they’re just wasting their money but the glow distracts me and ruins my experience. Thanks to the rapid development in mobile phone technology, every phone has a huge touchscreen and glows more, unlike the phones of ten years ago. I also hate it when phones go off why can’t people live without their phones turned off for a couple of hours! Yesterday at the movies, one bloke looked at his phone the entire time and two phones went off. I told the one who had a phone call to turn it off.
