Australians prefer dogs to children**
I don’t know if this actually true, I think it depends on who you ask. Some Australians would prefer dogs to children while some others may prefer children to dogs, I think it would depend on whether an Australian prefers to be a parent to a child or an animal.
Being a parent to a dog and a child would be very similar. However with children they do eventually grow up to become their own person and once they reach adulthood it is out of their parents’ control, whereas a dog can be trained to behave as the owner/master/parent wishes. This may be the main reason why certain Australians prefer to dogs to children.
