‘You have not converted people just because you have silenced them.’ Tell of a time when you were silenced but not converted**

I can’t tell of one time I was silenced but not converted, but multiple times. I constantly feel that I am silenced but not converted when my friends express their political views and leanings on Facebook.

The majority of my friends in Wollongong are left-wing and aren’t afraid to express it and even push it on other people. I don’t identify with any side of politics, I like to keep an open mind.

I believe I am silenced by their strong ways of expressing and even pushing their political beliefs, but I am not converted because I form my own opinions and take everything, including their views, into consideration when it comes to dealing with politics.
