John Marsden Writing Topic #406
Describe a day in your life**
My life, 80 percent of the time involves working. Therefore for this writing topic I have decided to describe a weekday in my life.
My day starts with waking up to the sound of the alarm at 6am. Once I wake up, I get up, take my pills and eat my breakfast whilst watching TV, usually a DVD. Once I have finished my breakfast, I put the bowl and cup in the sink, pack my bag and get dressed. Once I have packed my bag and get dressed, I pick something out of the freezer for dinner, put it in the fridge to defrost, check that the back door is locked and leave the house to catch the train.
I catch one train, to catch another and travel roughly an hour-and-a-half to work. Once I get off the train, I (sometimes) buy a flavoured milk and snack from a nearby supermarket and walk to my office. Once I get to the office, I work for 8 hours and walk back to the train station to go home. I catch one train for an hour-and-a-half and another for ten minutes. I get off that second train about twelve hours after I left in the morning to walk home.
Once I get home, I text my mother to let her know that I got home safe and sound, cook dinner, watch TV and go to bed, to get ready for another working day.
