Describe a camping or hiking experience you’ve had**

I can only recall one camping experience I had and it wasn’t even real camping. My parents bought two tents (I can’t remember the reason why because my parents aren’t campers) and my brother & I were kids (I think I was about 7 and he was 11).

When my brother & I saw the tents, being the kids that we were and due to the fact that we had never been camping, we insisted that we sleep in the backyard in the tents. My mother wasn’t too keen on the idea, but let us do it anyway. I remember enjoying the novelty of being in a tent, under the stars. I do vaguely remember waking up momentarily in the middle of the night being taken back into the house in my father’s arms. At the time I didn’t understand why I couldn’t sleep in the tent for the whole night, however now as an adult I understand now that it was for safety reasons.

I’ve never hiked in my life, therefore I obviously can’t experience a hiking experience when I’ve never had one.
