John Marsden Writing Topic #11
Which rules are you happy with? Which ones are you unhappy with?**
I’m happy with pretty much all laws and rules as they create order and civilisation in society, well they do when/if people follow them. Some rules in particular that I’m happy with are quiet carriages on trains and vacating seats on public transport for pregnant women, as well as the elderly and disabled or injured. I’m also happy with workplace laws as they make work enjoyable and sustainable.
There is one particular rule in society that I am unhappy with–cyclists being able to ride on footpaths because there are no bike lanes or paths around.
