John Marsden Writing Topic #28

A train is racing towards a bridge at 120 kilometres an hour. You’re outside the train and you know that the bridge has collapsed. Suggest five ways you could stop the train.**

 

1. Build a makeshift dock platform in front of the collapsed bridge

2. Put sand on the tracks

3. Put water on the tracks/flood the tracks

4. Place something on the tracks that would stop the wheels from moving

5. Put up a fence or some sort of large barricade for the train to either stop at or crash into
