John Marsden Writing Topic #372
Describe the way you study or work**
When I studied both in year 11 and 12 and at uni, I would constantly have a DVD playing in the background. I couldn’t study in silence and watching something relaxed me. I would also re-write passages out of a textbook as I found absorbing the text/information easier by writing it out as opposed to reading it over and over.
The way I work depends on the job I have. In my current full-time job, I make a to-do list every day as well as keep my desk and work area tidy as it helps me focus. I also keep notes/copies of every member enquiry I get and every phone message I have to take When I have to talk to my boss, I usually approach him with questions about multiple tasks as I like to do things in bulk. I also try to go with the flow as much as I can as I never know what the day can throw at me.Â
