Behind the Reviews – Edition #24 (Squinters)

Squinters premiered on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on 7 February 2018 and follows “five car loads of travellers, on the road, to and from work, wrestling with the conundrums of daily life.” I felt that Squinters was a unique show for many reasons: its focus purely on the characters’ commute to and from work, all the characters being put

The reason why I’ve titled my reviews of Seachange’s fourth season as season one of the Seachange (Reboot) is due to TV Week’s and the Nine Network’s promotion of the fourth season as a reboot of the original series.

Fisk – Season 2 Finale (Snitches get Riches)

The job of a season finale is to close the season’s story arcs and establish new ones for the next season (if there is one). As Fisk was a show that had self-contained episodes, this job doesn’t apply to them, however they did manage to close out the season by making references to previous episodes over its entire (so far)
