Like with my review of the previous episode, I’m going to review the penultimate episode of the season, character by character.

Grace, Diane, Sophia and Kirk – This episode focused on celebrating Sophia’s 18^th birthday, or at least their efforts to celebrate it. Sophia is clearly miserable throughout the whole episode, including through her disastrous birthday dinner. At this dinner, when Grace gives Sophia a locket just like her own father gave her a locket for her own 18^th birthday, it’s revealed that Sophia’s biological father, Rohan, left Grace without saying a word, and Grace’s father left her and Diane for another woman.
