‘Just one minute more’**

Just One Minute More

Just one minute more,

just let me have one minute more,

to hold my baby’s hand.

Just let me have one minute more,

to stroke my baby’s blonde locks,

just let me have one minute more,

to sit with my baby in peace

before the machines are turned off.

Just let me have one minute more,

so I can say one more time

I have four children instead of three,

Just let me have one minute more,

so I can forget I’m here

saying goodbye

to my youngest child

of only twenty-seven years!

Just let me have one minute more,

to be her mother,

Just let me have one minute more,

before I have to set her free,

Just one minute more.

Just one minute more…
