Pigs keep clean in washing machines**
Laundry
Steve doesn’t think I know, of course I know!
I do everything–I cook, pay the bills, work hours that suit his schedule and last but not least, I clean. I clean the house, I clean up his mess and I clean his clothes, his clothes are where he makes his mistake.
He has enough of a brain to put passwords on his phone and email accounts, but not enough to wash his clothes himself. I see the lipstick, the make-up residue and I smell the perfume and even the sweat from his trysts. I even find business cards with names like ‘Britney’, ‘Tiffany’ and ‘Whitney’, what’s with all the ‘nys’?
I try to spray the evidence and my tears away with Sard. At what point did he start to feel that I wasn’t enough? At what point did he feel okay with touching other women? When did he throw decency and all consideration out the window and tell himself to go for it?
I stay because I know I’ll have no prospects and besides why should I leave? I built this home as much as he has, he’s the one who decided to wreck it! He should leave! He probably doesn’t want to because he thinks I’m his maid and happy to clean up his own mess.
I’ll clean up his miss and his evidence and he’ll live to be a pig another day.
