From Writing Topic #131 until Writing Topic #149 are “based on a book”. The book I have chosen to focus on is Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern.
Choose a character from the book and write the similarities and differences between you and that character**
For this writing topic, I have chosen to compare myself to Rosie.
Similarities:
-Rosie and I both knew what we wanted to do career-wise when we were kids
-Rosie and I both believe in true love
-Rosie and I both value our friendships
-Rosie and I both communicate with loved ones mostly through emails
-Rosie and I both live in apartments
-Rosie and I are both single (with the exception of when she is married, Rosie is constantly single)
Differences:
-I only have one sibling whereas Rosie has two
-Rosie has a child, I don’t
-Rosie has been married, I haven’t (not yet anyway)
-Rosie smokes, I don’t
-Rosie has a life-long male best friend, I don’t
-Rosie’s parents have died, mine haven’t
-Rosie has worked for a paperclip factory, a school and two hotels, I haven’t
