My father always said that when you travelling the best thing to have is a good pillow not a good mattress. I never understood what he meant by that until I grew up and became a sales rep and was on the road every day—just like he was.

I sleep in cheap motels nearly every second day, the beds are nearly all the same—too hard and too soft mattresses, they were uncomfortable, but one thing that has been comfortable is my pillow. Even though I was uncomfortable, I never missed a night’s sleep on the road.
