I didn’t write anything for NaNoWriMo 2021 – Day 6.

I spent Day 5 of NaNoWriMo 2021 writing the prologue to Where We Are Now, the sequel to my novelette, How We Got Here, which I wrote for NaNoWriMo 2016 (my first NaNoWriMo). I wrote 251 words in total.

I spent Day 4 of NaNoWriMo 2021 writing blog posts on three virtual runs I completed: Race Through America – Arizona, Race Through America – Pennsylvania, and Race Through America – Utah. Each blog post was 69 words each, so I wrote a total of 207 words.

I spent Day 3 of NaNoWriMo 2021 finishing the draft article as part of my freelance writing job. I wrote 263 words.

I spent Day 2 of NaNoWriMo 2021 writing a draft article as part of my freelance writing job. It was an 800-word article and I managed to write 587 words.  

I spent the first day of NaNoWriMo 2021 writing my review of My Life Is Murder – Season 2, Episode 2 (Oceans Apart). My review was 1,437 words, below the 1,667 daily goal to meet the 50,000 word goal, but I was still happy with my achievement for Day 1 nonetheless. My review can be read here.

This is the first time I’ve participated in NaNoWriMo since 2018. As I have a lot of writing projects I want to attend to, I wanted to participate again, with the goal of writing as much as possible this month. My primary goal isn’t to meet the 50,000 word goal, however I do plan on monitoring my word count to

I chose not to participate in NaNoWriMo 2020, due to my inability to meet the 50,000 word goal and commit fully to the challenge in previous years.

I wrote three short stories based on the prompts provided by the Australian Writers’ Centre for its Furious Fiction challenge. I specifically wrote the three stories based on its September, October and November prompts (452 words).
