Pixar Era Analysis – The Personal Era
Now that I’ve finished reviewing and analysing Pixar’s Experimental Era, the next era I will be exploring is the current era, the Personal Era.
The Personal Era currently consists of seven animated feature films and kicked off in 2020:
- Onward
- Soul
- Luca
- Turning Red
- Lightyear
- Elemental
- Inside Out 2
The Personal Era so far has been known for its film releases being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, its films being based on the personal lives of the directors and writers who were making them, and its varied animation.
As mentioned earlier, the Personal Era is the current era, with the most recent release being Inside Out 2, the only sequel in this Era so far.
