John Marsden Writing Topic #564

Observe something organic for a week, writing about it each day (Peg Cherry).**

For my work anniversary (or workiversary), I received a bouquet of flowers from one of my colleagues. I chose to take pictures and write observations based on what is noticeable in the pictures. I didn’t take pictures everyday; however, I took pictures for over a week.

29 May 2024 (the day I received the flowers):

The flowers are perfectly arranged and are at their best. There are some flowers that have their pedals closed, but may open eventually. The colours are bright, beautiful, and varied.

30 May 2024:

The flowers are now in a vase and squashed together, nonetheless they’re still fresh and as they are squashed together, their colours are even more beautiful and easy to see.

2 June 2024:

The gerberas have started to droop and wilt, the closed flowers turned out to be pink lilies that have opened up and were a beautiful surprise as I wasn’t sure if they would open.

6 June 2024:

All the flowers are drooping and their colours have faded, but they are still going strong. Although they don’t have long now.
