Centre of Attention
“Why did you have to steal my thunder, Maggie?!”
“I didn’t steal your thunder at all, Esther! Why would you say that?”
“Why would you choose my wedding day to announce your pregnancy and make my day all about you?!”
“Why not? You’re my best friend, aren’t you happy for me?”
“Why can’t you just be happy for me today instead? Why couldn’t you post your announcement online, like a normal person?!”
“Why are you being so dramatic Esther!? You’re married to the love your life, you’ve had your wedding, your day’s pretty much over isn’t it? Aren’t you going to throw the bouquet now?”
“What is wrong with you, Maggie? Why are you trying to grab the bouquet from me?”
“Why shouldn’t it just go to me, I’m pregnant, I’m clearly next to get married! Let go of the bouquet!…Esther, why did you do that? Why did you tear up the bouquet?”
“Because I’d rather it be torn up then you get it, why are we even friends anymore?”
