A Bushranger’s Eulogy

Mum would always take off like a rocket during a chase.

She loved it when it was on foot, she’d smile and look back as her enemies shot at her and missed, whilst she’d open fire and hit at least one. She took joy from robbing fellow robbers and people that were almost as good as her, robbing weak people was just that, weak, and she enjoyed the challenge. Sometimes she would actually have to resort to hand-to-hand combat, apparently she punched a man so hard that she fractured his eye socket.

She always had fun and was always confident, but on her last job, she was too confident and it got her killed.

The man she was robbing outsmarted her by using a knife instead of a gun, getting it discretely out of his pocket, before dramatically and brutally stabbing her.

Surprisingly, her killer didn’t steal the locket she proudly wore around her neck, a locket that belonged to her mother, to her, and now me, but it’s not the only thing that is now mine.

Revenge will soon be mine, if my plan works. It’s taken me months and now it’s finally finished, all that’s left to do is deliver this eulogy.
