Fun Walking Not Running Around the World (Virtual Tour) – Chile
The sixteenth virtual run I completed for my Fun Walking Not Running Around the World (Virtual Tour) was the Chile run.
As mentioned in a previous blog post, I decided to do a virtual international Fun Walking Not Running Tour as the COVID-19 pandemic put a stop to my plans to start a “real world” international tour.
Virtual Run Events have World Races – virtual runs with a variety of distances that represent one country. As these races have been going for a while, a lot of them have sold out and finished.
I decided to continue on from the South Africa run to the Chile run as it takes my tour seamlessly into South America from South Africa. The South America runs will eventually lead to my return to North America, where the tour started, to finish full circle.
I completed this run (1 mile/1.7 km) on 15 December 2020. My data, bib and medal for this run can be found below.
