World Chocolate Day Run 2020
Another virtual run I completed this year was Virtual Run Event’s World Chocolate Day Run 2020.
The World Chocolate Day Run 2020 was established obviously to celebrate World Chocolate Day. It was Virtual Run Event’s third annual World Chocolate Day run. There was the option of five distances to complete: 1 mile, 5km, 10km, 13.1 miles and 26.2 miles, I chose to complete the 1 mile distance.
The World Chocolate Day Run 2020 raised money for Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), an organisation that aims to rescue children from sex trafficking.
As World Chocolate Day is July 7, I completed the run on July 7, 2020, the day after my 30th birthday. You can view my World Chocolate Day Run 2020 data, medal, bib and pin (I wore the pin on the day) below.
