Crossing the Finish Line: 2019 Four Seasons: Four Miles

The Challenge:
I chose to complete the 2019 Four Seasons: Four Miles challenge as I was looking for virtual runs to fulfill my Year of the Fun Walk challenge. However as soon as I came across and found out more about it, I fell in love with and chose to complete it as its own challenge.
I fell in love with the challenge due to its unique nature of being a year-long virtual run.
2019 Four Seasons: Four Miles was hosted by Virtual Run Events and was established to celebrate the seasons for 2019.
To successfully complete the challenge, I had to complete each season walk/run within certain dates. The challenge started with Spring (in the Northern Hemisphere as it was run by an overseas company) and ended with Winter. I had to complete the Spring run between March 21 and June 20, the Summer run between June 21 and September 20, the Autumn/Fall run between September 21 and December 20, and the Winter run anytime after December 21.
I completed the Spring run on April 27 2019, the Summer run on June 22 2019, the Autumn/Fall run on October 20 2019 and the Winter run on January 16 & January 18 2020.

2019 Four Seasons: Four Miles (times)
Times and Courses:
I completed three out of the four runs by doing a little over one lap of Lake Albert, in my home town of Wagga Wagga, with the fourth run being completed in two treadmill sessions at my local gym. The times were similar, with the quickest being 1 hour and 3 minutes (Spring) and my slowest at 1 hour, 14 minutes and 35 seconds (Winter).
My thoughts of it all:
Overall, I found this challenge to be fun and exciting, if Virtual Run Events are still running the challenge, I’d recommend anyone give it a go. I hope I find another year-long challenge like this in the future.
